Created by Dr. Stephen Barret, Quackwatch is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to combat health-related frauds, myths, fads, fallacies, and misconduct. Its primary focus is on quackery-related information that is difficult or impossible to get elsewhere. You may be shocked to read about how many things YOU might believe in or even use that have dubious or downright bad logic and science backing them up. This site is very interesting to say the least.
Skeptic
The official website of Skeptic Magazine and the Skeptics Society. This magazine covers and investigates claims and ideas made by scientists, historians, and controversial figures on a wide variety of theories and events. Edited by acclaimed Science writer Michael Shermer, it is very entertaining and full of great science-based no-nonsense information.
The Skeptic’s Dictionary http://skepdic.com/Created and run by Robert T. Carroll, the Skeptic’s Dictionary is a collecitons of “Strange Beliefs, Amusing Deceptions, and Dangerous Delusions.” Carroll also has written a book (by exactly the same name) that can be found in most major bookstores in the science section.
